The idea is obviously to create movie theaters that will mainly program works from Africa and Afro-descendants.

"Hard" rooms? / Outdoor screenings? / Traveling festival? The question is open!

The original idea in my mind was for a completely different purpose than simple leisure.

I was looking for a way to distribute free reports/films to the remote population of the country, like a "citizen YouTube Festival" for political purposes. Meet the population and show them what other ordinary citizens like them are doing to make things happen in their country.

At the time, I hadn't yet started writing my political ideas, so I turned to open-air entertainment cinema, which is eagerly awaited by young people in the country.

So I had started contacting directors, actors and production companies to find out the costs of distributing their works. Most encouraged me a lot, some even responded with great enthusiasm and made their works available for free (Yann-Arthus Bertrand for example).

But the cost of the material, even if it is not "huge" was already a big obstacle for me so I pass the torch to you!

I think a good size to start would be 20ft (6.10m width - 200 spectators) for a material cost of 15,000€ (optimal version).

I don't know the size and weight of the package but I hope that €3,000 will be enough for the shipping (Paris-Bissau. See carrier contacts here). Add to that a basic kangoo type car, plastic chairs or pouffes and you will be ready to make all the souls of Guinea-Bissau dream!!

The big question mark is in the customs clearance of the equipment and especially the operating taxes with the Ministry of Culture.
