Tuesday, Feb 6th : Arrival
Siphiwe and I will wait for you inside the airport and help you going through the visa process as we provide free entry visa for all our Decade of return clients. After getting your luggages back, the shuttle will get you to the Hala Hotel (Known as Ledger) and you'll enjoy our Traditionnal Welcome show by the Nacional Ballet crew.
Early Dinner and rest.
 
Wednesday, Feb 7th : Cacheu
Cacheu is the city where the captured people were gathered from their villages before being put in the boats.In 2016, The authorities have rehabilitated the former prison into a museum of the slave trade. We'll pay hommage to our ancestors with Siphiwe executing a solemn swim to symbolize the return of the souls, and by all together spend a moment in front of their "door of no return".
 
Thursday, Feb 8th: Ancestry day
Depending of your ethnicity, the group will divide to lead you to one of the most representative village of your ethnic group. Meet with your Brothers and Sisters and let them embrace you in the community!
 
Friday 9th to sunday 11th: Bijagos Islands
We'll leave Bissau for 3 days/2 nights in the magnificent Bijagos archipelago. 88 Islands populated by the ethnic group of the same name, who resisted fiercely against the invading colonialist. Beautiful white sand beaches, warm blue waters, enjoy the calm of this crown jewel.
 
Monday, Feb 12th: CARNIVAL
In the morning we'll go to the craft market for you to get your souvenirs.
We will attend the 3rd day of the Carnival festivities in Bissau: Music, parade, traditional outfits, smells and colour! Bissau Sabi! 
If needed we'll arranged the appointment for the covid test (Not Included)
 
Tuesday, Feb 13th : Leaving Bissauland
At the end of this first trip, we hope you'll go back to your second country with your heart and soul released, relaxed but full of colorful memories.
Depending on the fight time, we'll be able to go back to the market and have a little snack before we led you back to the airport.
