CARNIVAL TOUR 2024
The most original celebration in the West Coast!
The Carnival of Guinea-Bissau is spread over four days and takes place mainly in Bissau and on the Bijagos archipelago, where the different ethnic groups and the inhabitants of the small villages and other towns of the country come together to present their culture and their traditions .

During the colonial era, the Carnival was reserved for Portuguese settlers and assimilated. Little by little and since the Independence War, Bissau-Guinean people have appropriated this celebration in order to make it the ultimate expression of the different Guinean cultures and traditions.
